The Pierburg 1B is a single-barrel downdraft carburetor widely used on European passenger cars from the 1960s through the early 1980s. Known for its mechanical simplicity, reliability, and smooth drivability, the 1B was a popular OEM solution for economical engines. At Carburetor Service Nederland, each unit is fully restored in-house to original factory specifications.

Used / untested Pierburg 1B carburetor.
Trade-in of a comparable unit is mandatory.
Includes €55 cashback after receipt of the trade-in carburetor.

OUR REFURBISHMENT PROCESS
Complete disassembly
Ultrasonic cleaning of all components
Inspection and correction of throttle shaft wear
Replacement of gaskets, O-rings, and wear parts
Float and needle valve inspection
Baseline setup according to factory specifications
Final quality control and documentation
ADDITIONAL NOTES
We refurbish the carburetor only, not the complete vehicle
Use Euro 98 fuel where possible (E10 not recommended)
Warranty applies with correct installation and fuel pressure
