Craftsmanship in practice.
The Obtainables workshop, panel beating and restoration of classics

In the world of classic cars and motorcycles, everything revolves around quality, precision and expertise. I recently visited Obtainables, the workshop of Bonno Beths, where panel beating and restoration are carried out at a professional level. The visit was a lovely introduction to a workshop where love for the craft shows in every project.

Bonno is an entrepreneur from the same generation. It was fascinating to see how he has set up his workshop and which projects take shape there. From classic panel work to complete restorations: the variety is wide and the results speak for themselves.

Structured work and an eye for detail

During the tour it became clear how structured and focused the work at Obtainables is. Efficiency, an eye for detail and the use of the right techniques are central. That makes the workshop a reliable partner for a wide range of projects.

Valuable meetings between entrepreneurs

For me, meetings like these are valuable. Sharing knowledge and hands-on experience strengthens the network and opens up new opportunities for collaboration. Entrepreneurs with the same dedication raise the standard of the trade together.

A personal highlight

As a classic car enthusiast, one car in his garage immediately catches my eye today: the Jaguar E-Type Lightweight from the 1960s. This version, built in aluminium, combines pure elegance with uncompromising performance. Under the bonnet sits an impressive straight-six engine, fitted with three Weber DCOE 45 mm carburettors.

For me this is the perfect example of how engineering, design and craftsmanship come together, an absolute source of inspiration for everything we do. This is a place where craftsmanship and professionalism reinforce each other.
