Carburateur Service Nederland is taking part in the KNAC Herfsttocht on 18 October 2025, the autumn drive of the Royal Dutch Automobile Club. Autumn is just around the corner, but here the engine stays warm all year round. This season we're once again joining one of the finest drives of the year.
We join summer tours and autumn rallies across the Netherlands and Belgium as often as we can. Not just to cover the miles, but above all to meet people: entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and proud owners who all have one thing in common: they love keeping old machinery on the road. And that is exactly what Carburateur Service Nederland stands for.
Why KNAC and Carburateur Service are such a good match
The Koninklijke Nederlandsche Automobiel Club (KNAC) is where car enthusiasts come together to drive special routes, admire the most beautiful machines and celebrate the rich history of the motor car.
At every drive you'll find an impressive line-up of classics: from elegant pre-war cars to iconic sports cars, each with its own story under the bonnet. For us it's the perfect place to share knowledge, swap stories and meet kindred spirits with just as big a heart for carburettors and classic engineering as we have.
Our faithful Jaguar XJ6 as companion
This year we're taking part in a special classic from our own stable: a 1976 Jaguar XJ6 Series 2, with a 4.2 litre straight-six engine and a manual gearbox.
A car with pure British charm, where the combination of smooth power and timeless design makes every mile a pleasure. The growl of the six-cylinder, the comfort of the leather and the character of the mechanicals: this is classic motoring in its purest form.
A day full of encounters and engine sound
The KNAC Herfsttocht is about more than the glorious route, which takes in the Hoeksche Waard, Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland among other places. It's also a day for connecting with fellow petrolheads.
We listen to their adventures, admire their cars and talk about everything that drives, smells of petrol and puts a smile on your face. Whether it's a rare coupé, a patina-covered classic or a perfectly restored sports car: this is where engineering and love of the craft come together.
